I found out about this on Slashdot or Metafilter I think. The picture below shows what longklaw.com looks like as a graph. The graph was created using an application located at http://www.aharef.info/static/htmlgraph. I’m not sure it gives any useful information, but it looks interesting at least.

The following description of what the colors mean was taken from the website used to create the graph:
blue: for links (the A tag)
red: for tables (TABLE, TR and TD tags)
green: for the DIV tag
violet: for images (the IMG tag)
yellow: for forms (FORM, INPUT, TEXTAREA, SELECT and OPTION tags)
orange: for linebreaks and blockquotes (BR, P, and BLOCKQUOTE tags)
black: the HTML tag, the root node
gray: all other tags

Pearl Jam actually released a new music video. Is the world ending? The video is for the song “Life Wasted,” the second single from their new album. You can get it here for free until May 24. The video is being offered under a Creative Commons license. Interesting.
Update 5/24:
Now it’s free until June 1.

I went to an MSU graduation ceremony for the first time on Saturday. I got two degrees at MSU and never attended graduation. It was interesting but seemed to go on forever. And that was only one of the two ceremonies taking place that day.
I got up early Sunday to spend Mother’s Day with the family. I had lunch with my mother and sister and spent time with other relatives later in the day. It was great seeing everybody again since I hadn’t been home in a while.
I came back to Starkville on Monday. On the way back I picked up a copy of the new new Red Hot Chili Peppers album, Stadium Arcadium
. This is a great album to own if you are a RHCP fan. It’s a double disk album. I haven’t finished listening to it yet and I already know I’ve got my money’s worth.

I finally got my CD called Pearl Jam by Pearl Jam. It came in the mail today, two days later than expected. I don’t know whether to blame Amazon.com or the US Postal Service. Oh well.
I really enjoyed listening to it this afternoon. I probably shouldn’t try to rank it against their other CD’s yet. The newness may give it an unfair advantage. However, I really do think it’s some of the best stuff they’ve done in a long time. Lots of rocking. They continued their tradition of beginning the CD with a fast, heavy-hitting song and ending with a slower, more mellow song. There’s even a reprise on it, which I haven’t seen often on rock albums.

That whole Coppermine thing wasn’t working out too well, so we had to part ways. I’m trying another option provided by my hosting service. If this doesn’t work, I’ll go back to what I was doing before I tried Coppermine.
The pictures are all there, I’ll have to go back later and add titles, descriptions, etc. You can check it out here.

Since I had a lot of work to do and I tried to be sociable in real life, I only got to play the Dungeons and Dragons Online trial for about 2 hours over the weekend. It’s different, but it was still fun to play. I liked the voiceovers describing what was going on around you. I wonder if that will get annoying.
Here’s an example of how little I know about D&D rules. I was duel-wielding a longsword and an axe and didn’t realize I was taking a major penalty for doing so. No wonder those kobolds were giving me such a hard time. Once I realized what was going on, things got much easier.
Yesterday, I bought a copy of the game complete with that handy little instruction manual. The first half of the week will be busy, but after Hump Day I’ll be free for a few days.
Update, 3:05pm
I forgot to mention this, but I’m a human paladin on Xoriat.
